Meet Our Team

William Lacy has been counseling individuals, couples, and families since 2010. With more than 10 years of experience, Mr. Lacy is currently the only African-American man who own his own practice that provides mental health services to individual, couples, and families in Kankakee County.

He works with families and individuals in residential, educational, and traditional therapeutic settings. Mr. Lacy is dedicated to the benefits of group therapy and is focused on cultivating group therapy services for his community.

Mr. Lacy's dedication to supporting and caring for others began young. Growing up with 13 siblings, he understands the value in the ability to listen non-judgmentally and to accept other people's opinions and perspectives. Throughout his life experience he has been consistently intrigued by the complexities of human behavior, relationships, family systems, and trauma.

William Lacy earned his MAMFT in Marriage and Family Therapy at North Central University in 2018. He is currently a Post Graduate Candidate in Child and Adolescent Therapy at North Central University in Prescott, Arizona. Also, Mr. Lacy is in supervision with Lisa Moss, LCSW.
